Specs from the manufacturer and the sources listed below. Last verified Oct 20, 2026.

Good

  • 3-minute sessions with auto shut-off, the shortest here
  • Red, blue and combined modes for wrinkles and acne in one mask
  • Cordless, with an adjustable strap
  • 8 to 10 sessions per charge

Not so good

  • No published irradiance or dose, so the 3-minute claim cannot be checked against the trials
  • No K number on the brand site, so the clearance could not be matched to a specific FDA record
  • 1-year warranty, half that of most rivals here, and only if registered within 30 days
  • The "97% improved" results come from a clinical and consumer perception study with no sample size given

The FaceWare Pro sells on speed. A session lasts 3 minutes and the mask shuts itself off, against 10 minutes for the Omnilux and CurrentBody masks. It has red, blue and combined modes, so it covers wrinkles and acne like the Shark CryoGlow.

The problem is what the brand does not publish. There is no irradiance figure, so there is no way to check whether 3 minutes delivers a dose close to the trials. Shark’s FDA filing explains its short sessions with a stated 128 mW/cm². Dr. Dennis Gross gives no equivalent number.

The FDA status is also less clear than for the other masks. The brand calls the device “FDA cleared” but gives no K number, and no FDA record naming this product was found. It may sit under a manufacturer’s clearance with a different name, but that could not be confirmed.

The brand’s results come from a “clinical and consumer perception study”: 97% saw better fine lines after 10 weeks and 97% saw less acne after 2 weeks. No sample size or control group is given.

Choose it if a 3-minute habit is the only one you will keep. Otherwise the CryoGlow does the same two jobs with a published clearance and output, for about $100 less.
