UNI-T is the brand of Uni-Trend Technology (China), which says it has specialized in test and measurement for over 30 years. Its catalog covers handheld meters, bench instruments such as oscilloscopes and power supplies, and thermal imaging cameras. In the US it sells through its Amazon storefront.

Limits of budget lux meters

Budget meters measure photopic lux, which tracks visual brightness, not the blue-sensitive response that drives the body clock.
